Two weeks ago, Assassin's Creed Valhalla was just a rumour, but a lot has changed.
The game has now been confirmed and shown off by Ubisoft.
More and more details are emerging with every passing day, so here's what we know about the Valhalla theme.
Theme Reveal
It was rumoured for months, and we can finally confirm that the new game, Valhalla, will be Viking themed.
STUNNING - This Valhalla reveal lets us into the Viking world
Rumours believed it was going to be called Ragnarok, another Norse term, but whatever it's been named, we are so excited to step into the Viking world.
Fans of God of War will vouch that the setting was a hit, so perhaps we could see some Norse deities also appear in Valhalla.

Locations
The big news from the initial reveal is that it appears that sailing missions and quests will return, much like Assassin's Creed: Black Flag.
In Black Flag, and Rogue that followed it, there were also missions on land, and we expect this to the be same in Valhalla.
SETTING SAIL - The ship-based mission of Black Flag were immensely popular
The protagonist in the cover reveal is yielding a classic Viking axe, with a battle going on in the background outside a sieged castle.
We believe this could be the Viking invasion of Britain, which started in AD 793.
Either way, expect a huge map with multiple locations, all with their own challenges.

English cities of London, Winchester and York have been confirmed, as well as world heritage site Stonehenge.
The Assassin's Creed games have become more and more open world as the series has gone one, with an increasing action RPG feel.
Weapon Reveal
The main weapon we can see is a stunning axe featured in the reveal graphic.
AND MY AXE! The deadly sure adds to the anticipation of the upcoming title
A small quiver can be seen on the protagonist's side, suggesting we could see some bow and arrow work, or some hand darts.
A bow and arrow has been seen in many Assassin's Creed titles, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see it return.
