The Rampage LMG has arrived in the new Apex Legends Season 10 update!

Here's everything we know about the new weapon, the first post-launch LMG in Apex Legends.

Latest - Apex Legends Season 10 Live on All Platforms

Apex Legends Season 10 has had a successful launch so far! That is if you aren't on Xbox.

It seems some technical hiccups has led to Xbox not having the Apex Legends Season 10 update just yet, and we have no timeframe for when this will be fixed.

In the meantime, the new Rampage LMG and the rest of the Apex Legends Season 10 update content are live now on PC and PlayStation.

Rampage LMG Weapon Breakdown

The Rampage LMG is almost here, so we've got a few things you need to know about the new LMG ahead of the Emergence update.

Firstly, the Rampage LMG hits hard. If you check out the video in the Tweet below, you'll see what we mean. The new LMG has the following damage output numbers:

  • Headshot Damage - 42
  • Bodyshot Damage - 28
  • Limbshot Damage - 24

It's most suited to medium-to-long range engagements and has the slowest fire rate in the class, however... It does have a trick up its sleeve. If you load a Thermite into the Rampage LMG, it gets a limited-time boost.

This means you should see a faster fire rate and a higher damage output for a short period of time. Keeping one of these on you will be handy as this can make the difference in a closer-quarters shootout.

With the Spitfire LMG moving into Care Packages, practicing with the Rampage LMG is going to be a game-changer in both Arenas and the BR modes.

Weapon Changes Detailed Ahead Of Patch Notes

The Season 10 Patch Notes from Respawn Entertainment, didn't give us much on the new Rampage LMG, but plenty of info is out.

It Destroys Doors Instantly?!

Apex Legends' newest Gameplay Trailer has showcased a lot of what's coming in the new title update but this is important. We got a new look at Rampart wielding the Rampage LMG and she just straight-up decimates a door.

Respawn still haven't shared the specifics but expect to hear more from them about this new weapon soon.

NEW WEAPON: Rampage LMG

"Meet Rampart's newest invention, the Rampage LMG, with a surprising source of firepower."

At the moment, this is all we know about the new Apex Legends Season 10 weapon. It's Rampart-made and it's got a strange source of firepower. The Apex Legends Emergence Cinematic Trailer does hint at what this might be, showing a Thermite Grenade deconstructed, although it isn't clear what you'd actually load into the Rampage LMG.

If this weapon does use Thermite Grenades, it really is a game-changer. Respawn Entertainment is sharing a Gameplay Trailer later today, at 08:00 PST / 11:00 EST / 16:00 BST that should clear things up.

When Does Season 10 Kick-Off?

Apex Legends Season 10 is due to start on August 3rd, following the conclusion of the Thrillseekers Arenas Event and Season 9 - also known as Legacy. We don't know the exact time it will be available to preload; however, if we look at previous updates we can get some idea.

Season 10 will most likely be available to preload from August 1st or August 2nd and we should see it go live sometime between 10:00 EST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST and 11:00 EST / 14:00 EST / 19:00 BST on the release date.

At the moment though, take this with a pinch of salt. Respawn Entertainment should confirm all this in the days leading up to the launch of the new season of content.
