It looks like it could be finally happening, Apex Legends players. Wattson Mains, we're going to ask you to stay calm during this time - but, there have been quite a few leaks regarding a Wattson Heirloom item and we want to PUMP IT INTO OUR VEINS!
Wattson Mains have been waiting so long for an Heirloom item and here's an update on when we should expect it now that the Monsters Within event is on the way.
UPDATE - Monsters Within is coming...
We hate to say it, but there's no mention of the Wattson Heirloom in the Monsters Within event. This isn't the most surprising - Rampart's Heirloom was added through a Collection Event centred around her character and the Monsters Within event isn't a Collection Event based on Wattson. However, it is heartbreaking.
The Monsters Within event is due to start on October 12th and will last three weeks. We don't think we'll see the next Collection Event for at least another five weeks - if not longer.
Wattson Mains, we're going to have to wait a little longer. Between a missing Heirloom and a broken ability set, being a Wattson Main can be tough at times.
The most interactive Heirloom yet?
We know the next Bloodhound lore event is right around the corner, but we have to talk about the new leaks regarding the Wattson Heirloom. Data miners have uncovered a few new animations for Apex Legends' Wattson Heirloom and it looks like it could be one of the most interactive Heirlooms yet!
Garret of GarretLeaks has shared the following:
In another Tweet, he suggests the following:
" Okay just had an idea, I think she places a Nessie on top of the heirloom and a bird tries to steal the nessie, that's why she sways her arm then the nessie falls off. Just a theory tho."
Looking at what we already know, from the sections below, we could be getting a "Nessie Tamagotchi" included in this Heirloom - We certainly haven't seen that before in Apex Legends!
WATTSON HEIRLOOM - At long last...
One data miner has found something we all want to see... A Wattson Heirloom animation. You can check it out below:
As you can see, they believe it to be a strange gadget that acts like a taser and a Tamagotchi-type game about Nessie. We don't know if this is the case, yet, but it's certainly a good sign.
This will still - as far as we are aware - act like any other Heirloom and be a "melee weapon" that replaces the Apex Legends' character's melee attack.
