One thing fans of Apex Legends can't accuse Respawn Entertainment of is a lack of updates. Having just come out of the Genesis Collection Event, we're now straight into the next big update, the Thrillseekers event.
Here's everything you need to know now that it has gone live.
LATEST - Thrillseekers Has Gone Live
Releasing at around 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST, Apex Legends' Thrillseekers event is now live.
When Does The Thrillseekers Event Start?
Apex Legends' next in-game event has been confirmed as the Thrillseekers Event, and it began on July 13th and will finish on August 3rd.
That's three weeks of new challenges and it should take us nicely into the final stretch in our wait for Season 10. Here's the announcement tweet and reveal trailer for you to muse over.
There's A New Reward Tracker
At this stage of the game, anyone who's played Apex Legends during an in-game event is going to know all about these Reward Trackers. They're essentially like a mini Battle Pass that you can only complete by earning Event Points through Event Challenges.
You can earn over 1,000 a day and the Event Challenges refresh every 24 hours so there's always the opportunity to earn more. Below, we have a look at the full Thrillseekers Event Reward Tracker that's come to Apex Legends today:
For a summary, Respawn Entertainment said the following:
- Week one gives you a chance to unlock the Rampart Wastelander Set, which includes a matching gun charm, weapon skin, and a Legendary Rampart skin.
- Week two grants Battle Pass boosters, crafting metals, and Apex packs.
- Week three includes the Lethal Enforcer Bangalore Skin, along with other goodies!
A Few New Legend Skins, Too
Rampart isn't the only one getting a new Legend skin in this event, though. There's also going to be new skins for Pathfinder, Revenant, Gibraltar, and Mirage! You can check out what they look like in the images below:
Overflow Is Joining Apex's Arenas
It wouldn't be an Arenas-themed Apex Legends event without a new Arenas map, right? Well... Respawn Entertainment have you covered. There's a new Apex Legends Arenas map coming in the Thrillseekers Event and it's a little different.
Overflow is a lane-based map, unlike the other Arenas maps before it, and it sounds like it could be a much more tactical affair. Here's what Respawn had to say:
" Overflow differs from other Arena maps by being lane focused; where each location is separated by tall, lava-filled structures. With this separation, players cannot easily spot early decisions made by the other team and will need to stay vigilant before committing to a side or risk being flanked. While there are opportunities for long-range engagements, combat tends to favor short-to-medium ranges along either POI: Overlook or Slope."
The Summer Splash Sale Is A Must-Watch
In addition to all this, there's a limited-time Apex Legends Store sale going on during the Thrillseekers Event.
The Summer Splash Sale has brought back a few fan-favourite cosmetics for a limited time and should be something you keep an eye on. There is great deals on Apex Packs throughout, too.
The Summer Splash Sale has started and will run until July 27th. Youngblood and Voidwalker are back at the very least.
