Apex Legends Season 7 is almost here, and with it comes plenty of new content and balance changes.
Season 7 introduces Horizon, a new legend, Olympus, a new map, The Trident, a new vehicle, and plenty more.
We've broken down all of the changes to give you 7 things you need to know about Apex Legends Season 7.
Horizon - A new legend
Apex Legends Season 7 introduces a brand new legend, Horizon, to the game.
Horizon will be a deadly character with plenty of ability to move allies and opponents at will.
To play as or against Horizon, you'll need to have a good understanding of her abilities.
Horizon's Gravitational Lift is a projectile she throws that will launch all characters on it into the air, then propel them outward.
Horizon's Black Hole, her ultimate, spawns where she sends N.E.W.T., her robot. Black Hole pulls all nearby characters to it, leaving players out in the open and unable to move for the duration.
Olympus - A new map
Apex Legends Season 7 introduces Olympus, a brand new map. For the first two weeks of the season, Olympus will be the only playable map. The map is large, with many diverse areas players can choose to land in depending on their playstyle.
For players that look for the biggest loot from the very beginning, you'll want to land in Bonsai Plaza and head toward the Reverie Lounge.
If you're looking for a nice peaceful open area with many loot options, Hydroponics is the place to go.
And if you're looking for exciting and unique gameplay each game, you'll want to drop in The Rift. There, you can teleport across the entire map in an instant by entering the center.
The Trident - A new vehicle
The Trident is a new vehicle introduced in Season 7. It is a hover car that can fit your whole squad!
The Trident is indestructible, which means you won't have to worry about it blowing up and hurting your teammates.
When enemies shoot The Trident, however, damage is distributed between all players inside the vehicle. That means it's a bit of a risk to drive into a firefight.
New Balance Changes
Season 7 brings plenty of balance changes to the game. These changes affect 8 legends, plenty of weapons, and even damage from the Ring.

Now Playable on Steam

Even better, for logging into Apex Legends Season 7 on Steam, players will receive Half-Life and Portal themed weapon charms.
Clubs are Here
Season 7 introduces Clubs, which will allow players to form up with friends and make finding games easier.
It also means you can represent a common cause, and create a community in-game.
