Wattson - Natalie Paquette - you have our hearts. From tomorrow, you're going to have all of our time too. Why? Well, we all want to unlock the new Wattson Heirloom item that's being released alongside the Raiders Collection Event - right? Here's everything you need to know about what you need to do.

What time does the Collection Event begin?

If you want to get your hands on Wattson's Heirloom item as soon as you can, you're going to need to know what time the Raiders Collection Event starts - as you can't start to unlock the Wattson Heirloom item until then!

Respawn Entertainment hasn't been as specific as we'd like about the start of the event, but we can look at the time previous events have started to get some idea of when to expect the Raiders Collection Event to begin.

As long as there are no unexpected delays, we should see the Raiders Collection Event begin at the following times:

  • 09:00 December 7th - PST
  • 12:00 December 7th - EST
  • 17:00 December 7th - GMT

How to unlock the Wattson Heirloom item

At the moment, there's only going to be one way to unlock the Wattson Heirloom in Apex Legends.

Like any previous Collection Event, the Heirloom item being added during it will be available by collecting all 24 of the event-related cosmetic items during the event. The Raiders Collection Event that's due to start on December 7th isn't going to change this formula.

If you want to unlock the Wattson Heirloom item, you're going to need to collect all 24 cosmetic items from the Raiders Collection Event's collection of newly added items. This includes items that you might see pop up in the Apex Legends Store during the event-specific rotation and items you can only get in Raiders Apex Packs.

It can get a bit expensive though, collecting all of these items in a two-week period - so, there's going to be another way to unlock the Wattson Heirloom item when the Raiders Collection Event concludes on December 21st.

Once a Collection Event ends, the related Heirloom item is thrown into the general pool of Heirlooms that you can pick up if you have enough Heirloom Shards. These are an extremely rare item drop in standard Apex Packs, so they're technically a free reward?

The Wattson Heirloom should be available to unlock via this method shortly after the Raiders Collection Event ends. Respawn Entertainment will confirm this in the coming days, we expect.
