Apex Legends, Olympus: Best Drop Zones and Good Loot Areas

Season seven of Apex Legends saw the release of Olympus. Olympus is a built-up, bright and colourful place that has some great drop points.

In terms of the lore, it seems that this floating city had been called home by people at some point. Now, all that is left is a barren city. Due to the ever-changing nature of Apex Legends, the map has seen several adjustments, including terrain.

However, let's look at the map and where the best drops are so you can play at your best.

The Olympus map

The Olympus map from Apex Legends is a vast change from the natural aesthetics of World's Edge or King's Canyon. The city in the sky was built as a utopia but soon turned into a dystopia.

Best Apex Olympus drop zones

Olympus is a map which doesn't have many stand-out points to drop at. It's more what kind of player you are than a spot being better than the other. That's why it's considered one of the easier maps to play on and a fan favourite.

Phase Driver is a great spot for those more passive players in Apex Legends. However, it can also be a noisy part of the map to navigate. Usually, if there are lots of legends here, avoid, avoid, avoid.

Listening to our advice here may lead you to float the longer journey to the docks. This is a long journey and means that many legends won't jump here. There is also a supply bin near the back of the docks which always has bundles of great loot.

However, for those more aggressive players, Estate is a tight-knit place to land that will dunk you right into boiling water. Close spaces and lots of hiding spots are littered around the Estates here.

Best Apex Olympus loot areas

As is the same with other Apex Legends maps, Olympus has one hot loot zone per round. Dropping here will lead to a bunch of fights and will leave many legends disappointed. However, if you know what you're doing then go in for that skirmish for sure. You'll be rewarded greatly.

Apart from the obvious POI, there are several other locations which are guaranteed good loot each time. That bin in the docks is a good place to start. Elysium also has a brilliant circle of good loot too. Oasis also has some brilliant loot, but this is more of a contested area.
