Apex Legends' Halloween 2021 event is a handful of hours away and we have everything you need to know about Monsters Within and what time it's expected to start. We've also got some information about the new cosmetics below - so, keep reading!
START TIME - When should the event begin?
Respawn Entertainment hasn't offered us a specific start time for the Monsters Within event, but that doesn't mean we don't know when things are going to kick off. Looking at previous updates and events, we are confident in suggesting that the Monsters Within event is going to start at the following times:
- 10:00 PST
- 13:00 EST
- 18:00 BST
Shadow Royale is coming back - although, it's only going to be available in the third week of this three-week event. Here's what you can expect in the first week and an official look at the new set of cosmetics.
Caustic's new skin is a little too weird
Respawn Entertainment is offering us a better look at Caustic's upcoming Synthesis Chamber skin ahead of the Monsters Within event and it looks... A little unusual.
As you can see below, Caustic is growing some strange creature inside his chest - which can never be good - and we're not sure we want to know what.
Each Monsters Within skin is reflective of the character's own internal monsters - however literal - so we should learn more about what's going on with Caustic soon.
Dia de Los Muertos Sale confirmed
In the second week of the Monsters Within event, the Dia de Los Muertos Sale is going to begin! This sale is going to offer up a new Octane Bundle that includes...
- Muerte Rapida - Epic Octane Skin
- Altar Ego - Epic Octane Banner
- Flirting with Death - Rare Volt Weapon Skin
- Two Octane Packs - Guaranteed Octane Item
The Loba Banshee Bundle, the Darkside Gibraltar Bundle, and Bangalore's Soldado de la Muerte Bundle are all also returning to the Apex Legends store. This sale will run from October 26th to November 1st.
What to expect from Monsters Within?
The Monsters Within event is going to be like any other Apex Legends event in the way it operates, but narratively it's going to be quite exciting.
We're expecting to see a three-week Reward Track, which will offer everyone a chance to get some free cosmetics, and a collection of Legend skins for players to unlock via Apex Packs.
You can check out a handful of them below, thanks to data miner Shrugtal. Each of these Legend skins comes with an associated Holo-Spray and Weapon Skin. It's like a set, but unofficial.
In addition to all this, there are leaks that would suggest Wattson is getting her Legend Heirloom during this event. Sadly, these leaks are not going to come true as no mention of Wattson's Heirloom has been made by Respawn Entertainment.
