Monsters Within Start Date: When does the next Apex Legends event begin?

Respawn Entertainment has come a long way since the launch of Apex Legends. with the switch from Titanfall to Apex Legends came an entirely new business model with tonnes of events and updates. The Monsters Within event is an exciting new Halloween event. Here's when it starts.

The Monsters Within event finally begins today. After weeks of hype, we can finally play the latest event for ourselves.

Coming with a new arena map, spooky skins and tonnes more, this is sure to be a big one.

A closer look at Caustic's skin...

Caustic's Synthesis Chamber skin, coming to Apex Legends during the Monsters Within event, is perhaps the strangest of them all. As you can see below, Caustic is... Growing something inside his chest?

We know he's up to some strange stuff, but this is something else! It certainly takes the phrasing "Monsters Within" to a new level, anyway. You should be able to pick this up in the Apex Store alongside the new Bloodhound, Revenant, and Seer skin for the duration of the event.

START DATE - When does it all begin?

Apex Legends' Monsters Within event has been confirmed to start on October 12th and should run until November 2nd.

There's going to be a return of Shadow Royale during the first week of this event and a three-week Reward Track for players to work through while they hunt for Monsters Within-themed Apex Packs for the new cosmetics. It isn't the biggest new event we've ever seen, but it's not a bad one.

WHAT TO EXPECT - Monsters Within Event

The Monsters Within Event is going to be a Halloween event like no other - it looks like each Legend Skin that's coming to the game is going to be based on each Legends' personal fears and their "monsters within", rather than traditional Halloween costumes.

That being said, it's still going to play out like a normal Apex Legends event. There's going to be a Collection to complete and a Reward Track offering free cosmetic items and Apex Packs throughout the event.

Rumours are, Wattson is finally going to get her Legend Heirloom during this event. This means that you'll be able to get your hands on it by collecting all of the available cosmetics during the Monsters Within Event. That remains to be seen, but we can hope... Right?
