Apex Legends is currently down as reported by thousands of users, with reports starting at 12:26pm EST and many players unable to access multiplayer in the game.
The last time Apex Legends servers went down in a significant way was during the Evolution Collection Event, but this server outage seems different from the previous.
From the looks, this server outage is connected with the outage of dozens of other services starting at roughly the same time - a list that includes Spotify, Snapchat, Pokemon Go, Google, Discord, and plenty more.
With the apparent widespread nature of this server outage, we don't expect a quick solution to get players back online in Apex Legends.
Instead, whatever central problem has caused this server outage will likely have to be fixed first, and depending on how severe it is, this could be a long problem.
EA has yet to comment on Apex Legends server status in the aftermath of these problems just yet, but we'll update with all of the latest information as it arrives.
