Apex Legends Season 9 launch plagued by server issues


The Apex Legends' Season 9 update, also known as Legacy, is finally here!

The update is the game's biggest yet, bringing the new Arenas mode and a new legend, as well as new skins and weapons.

But while there's plenty of hype for the new season, massive Apex Legends server issues were a big problem on launch day, and Respawn have been fighting to clear things up.

With a new batch of server problems popping up,it seems like a work in progress at best.

Tens of thousands of players are reporting Apex Legends server problems are back - and it's taking these players out of the game entirely.

Respawn have yet to comment on the newest crop up of server issues, but we expect the team is back on the case after working on it tirelessly on Legacy Update launch day.

Apex Legends Legacy is Now Live

The Apex Legends Legacy Update faced some massive technical issues on launch, causing server hiccups from the sheer volume of players queueing up.

While some players are still experiencing some issues, Respawn have come forward to wave the flag of victory, and officially launch the Apex Legends Legacy Update.

In the Tweet, Respawn apologize for the rampant launch day issues, and while players may be annoyed, it appears they'll be able to play now with little hassle.

Respawn have now said they they're aware of the issues and are working to fix the problems.

Are Apex Legends' Servers Down?

Yes, many people are having problems connecting to the Apex Legends servers now that Season 9 has begun.

As jokingly reported by Apex Legends News on Twitter, it is quite a widespread issue that's affecting a lot of players.

A lot of players aren't being let into the servers when loading up the game following the install of the update, and other are having issues once in.

How to Fix Issues

Honestly, there's not a lot you can do to fix the Apex Legends servers down issues at the start of Season 9.

These kinds of problems are pretty common place at the start of big events, so you simply have to keep trying or wait for the demand to die down.

Hopefully, as you keep trying to enter the game, you'll get some luck. As more and more time passes since the launch of Season 9, it'll get easier to get into the game.
