How To Play With Friends In Valheim

Valheim has taken over the video game world in just over a week, becoming one of the top PC games on Steam, with over 100,000 concurrent viewers on average.

The game can be played either solo or in a group of up to 10 players, allowing friend groups to be able to enjoy the game together in their own private server.

But how do you play in co-op mode?

Valheim can be played either alone, giving a more single-player experience, or with friends in a group of up to 10 players.

This can be done really easily and groups of friends can even play on private servers so they aren't interrupted by other players.

First, you need to make a new character, if you've already played the game you could use an existing character.

But be aware that if you join a public server then you are at risk of losing items, so for public servers use a different character.

To create a world for your friends to join, click New and enter the details for your world.

If you want to play with friends then tick the Community Server button, you can also set a password to stop random people joining.

Then your friends can search for your world using the Join Game section.

Once they find it they can join and you can now play with your buddies and enjoy the adventure that awaits you all as you fight trolls, build your own houses and explore this vast world of Valheim.
