A Grim Reaper figure seen watching Valheim players

Since its release earlier this year, Valheim has gone on to the breakout game of 2021.

Valheim has already surpassed over five million sales on Steam, and the game is still in early access.

But, there is something creepy lurking around the map.

Grim Reaper Found In Valheim

A mysterious figure has been seen haunting players around Valheim, and players believe it could be the Grim Reaper.

The Grim Reaper has been seen watching players at a distance before disappearing when approached.

Since Valheim has a Norse mythology theme, it shouldn't be too surprising that strange goings on have started to make an appearance.

Another theory is that the mysterious figure could be Odin.

On the official Valheim website, it makes numerous references to Odin, who is a major part of Norse mythology.

So far, the developers, Iron Gate AB, have yet to comment on who this mysterious character is.

How To Find The Grim Reaper

Currently, there seems to be no set way to make this figure appear, although we're sure someone will figure out a tried and tested method.

So far players have reported them showing up:

• At the meadows and swamp biome.
• After defeating any of the bosses

Doing either of these is still no guarantee that you will find them.

But if you look hard enough, you might just see a mysterious figure observing you in the distance.
